The joy of autumn

13/11/2013
It's easy to dismiss the cliches of the season of 'mists and mellow fruitfulness', but it's still among the most magical of times to get out and get some 'photo therapy'! It's been a slow one this year, with trees either stubbornly hanging on to their green leaves or simply dropping them almost overnight. So, I've been waiting impatiently for the right conditions to get out and shoot some classic autumn images.
Then, suddenly, everything seems to have fallen into place, from woods full of rich-coloured leaves to landscapes veiled by mist, this week has been full of the very essence of autumn cliches ... and I still love seeing and shooting them.
