Trefor, Lleyn peninsula, North Wales

The village of Trefor may not be on the 'A-list' of North Wales landscape locations, but it's one of my personal favourites. It's located on the north side of the Lleyn peninsula, just off the A499. Once you are in the village you'll need to turn down a small road to the harbour, where there is a large car park just a short distance from the pier.
From the car park there is a path leading towards the harbour, and onwards along the coast. Just before you get to the headland there are great views back towards the harbour with a backdrop of the mountains of Gyrn Goch and Gyrn Ddu. But walk further along the coast path and you'll find the amazing views of the peak of Yr Eifl as it meets the sea.
Being mostly west-facing, it's a great area for sunset shots, just watch the weather!
